Housing inventory in Portland area shooting up

I have been tracking housing inventory in the Protland metro area for the last month or so.I have plotted the data in a graph below.
The graph shows inventory increase since may 14th 2006. It is really eye opening that Beaverton inventory is up about 50%.

Note: PDX metro numbers include Portland and some surrounding areas.
